Historic Step Towards Making Women Economically Strong Sandeep Saini

Hoshiarpur:- Chairman of Backfinco Punjab Sandeep Saini said that under the Chief Minister Mothers–Daughters Respect Scheme, the Government of Punjab has taken a historic decision to make the women of the state economically strong. He stated that under this scheme, mothers and sisters of the General Category above the age of 18 years will be provided financial assistance of 1000 rupees every month, while women belonging to the Scheduled Caste category will receive financial assistance of 1500 rupees per month.
Sandeep Saini said that the government has proposed a budget of about 9300 crore rupees for this important scheme, which is a major step towards the empowerment of women. He stated that the registration process for this scheme will begin on the auspicious occasion of Vaisakhi and the government aims to ensure that this amount reaches the bank accounts of eligible women as soon as possible.
He said that the Aam Aadmi Party Government has fulfilled the promise made to women during the elections and has given a major gift to the women of the state on the occasion of International Women’s Day. This scheme will not only make women economically self-reliant, but will also give them the opportunity to move forward with dignity in the family and society.
Saini said that for the first time in the history of Punjab, a government has decided to provide financial assistance on such a large scale for the respect and empowerment of women. He said that with this assistance, women will be able to contribute to small household expenses and take strong steps towards becoming self-reliant.
He thanked the Chief Minister and said that the Mann Government is fully committed to the upliftment of women and to ensuring their dignity.
