Heavy resentment in Sikh community over Kapil Vijs remarks on Sikh religious beliefs

Ambala, May 14- Paigam-e-Jagat: Expressing strong reaction to the remarks 'Hanuman ka Khalsa, Hanuman ki Fateh' made by Kapil Vij, brother of Cabinet Minister Anil Vij, on Facebook, INLD state spokesperson Onkar Singh issued a written statement today. He stated that the social media post by Kapil Vij, the brother of Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij, has deeply hurt the religious sentiments of the Sikh community, leading to widespread anger.
He said that Sikh followers respect all religions and do not tolerate any misinformation regarding their own faith. The use of holy Sikh terms like "Khalsa" and "Fateh" in the Facebook post is highly objectionable, deplorable, and unfortunate. Onkar Singh added that in Sikhism, "Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh" is not just a greeting but a symbol of the sacred religious tradition and faith shown by the Gurus. "Khalsa" is considered the army of the Almighty, established by the tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, for the protection of humanity and righteousness.
He urged the police administration to take immediate notice of the matter and register a case against Kapil Vij under appropriate sections for hurting religious sentiments. He mentioned that a Sikh delegation would soon meet the Superintendent of Police, Ambala, to demand strict legal action.
