Karnal, June 15: The Superintending Engineer of the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) Karnal Operations Circle announced that a hearing to address electricity consumers' grievances—with the aim of ensuring their speedy resolution—will be held on June 16 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vidyut Sadan in Sector 12. The hearing will be conducted by the Chairperson of the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, UHBVN Karnal.
He stated that consumers whose electricity-related issues remain unresolved despite meeting local officials may present their grievances before the Forum. However, consumers with cases currently pending in court, or those whose complaints or matters date back more than two years, are not eligible for this hearing. Additionally, complaints related to electricity theft will not be heard during the meeting.
