Health insurance cards have also started being made at PHC Boothgarh
Boothgarh (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar) March 2, 2026:- The work of making Chief Minister's Health Insurance Cards has also started at Primary Health Center (PHC) Boothgarh. Giving information in this regard, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Alkjot Kaur said that insurance cards are being made in this health center from 9 to 11 am. He said that the work of making cards will be done by the VLE, ??who will be present at the health center for 2 hours every day.
Appealing to the residents, he said that those who are interested in making cards can reach the health center and get the insurance card made and can take advantage of the Chief Minister's Health Scheme. He said that those who are interested should definitely bring Aadhaar card and voter ID card with them. At least two members of the family must be present on the spot and the mobile number should be linked to the Aadhaar card. Every member of the family should have the above mentioned necessary documents.
If someone does not have a voter card, then the birth certificate can be brought. The SMO reiterated that under this scheme, every family is being provided with health insurance of up to Rs 10 lakh per year. If any member of the card-holding family is admitted to a government or listed private hospital, medical treatment of up to Rs 10 lakh will be completely free.
He said that health insurance cards can also be made at any nearby common service center. Apart from this, the card can also be made by visiting camps set up at different places.
