Chandigarh, July 24:– The Haryana Government has appointed retired IAS officer Mr. Sameer Pal Saro as Chairperson of Quality Assurance Authority. Orders in this regard have been issued by the State Government today.
Mr. Saro has been a senior IAS officer of Haryana cadre. In view of his long and extensive experience in the administrative field, he has been entrusted with this important responsibility.
The main objective of the Quality Assurance Authority is to ensure monitoring, evaluation and improvement of quality standards in government departments, boards, corporations and various welfare schemes. Along with this, the Authority works for transparency, accountability and improvement in the quality of public services.
