Haryana Chief Secretary pays courtesy call on Governor
Chandigarh, July 1:- Haryana Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Rastogi paid a courtesy call on Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh at Haryana Lok Bhawan today. On this occasion, the Governor received detailed information from the Chief Secretary on various contemporary issues related to the state.
While reviewing the progress of major public welfare schemes and programmes being run by the state government, he laid special emphasis on their effective and timely implementation, so that the benefits of these schemes reach maximum eligible beneficiaries. He said that in order to maintain the pace of good governance and development, it is necessary to ensure transparent, effective and timely implementation of public welfare schemes.
Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Rastogi conveyed his best wishes to the Hon’ble Governor and apprised him of the progress being made in various priority sectors of the state. He also informed about the efforts being made by the state government for development works, administrative reforms and public welfare. During the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the overall development of the state, further strengthening good governance and effective implementation of public welfare schemes.
