Haryana Chief Minister Honors Journalist from Punjabi Ajit
Ratia, July 25: Harbans Singh Mander, a journalist with 'Punjabi Ajit' and former president of the Ratia Press Club, was honored with the 'Punjabi Journalism Award-2022' at a state-level award ceremony organized by the Haryana Sahitya and Sanskriti Akademi, Panchkula. The prestigious event was held at the Pt. Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts, Rohtak, where Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini presented journalist Harbans Singh Mander with a cash prize of ?1 lakh, a shawl, and a citation.
Upon receiving the award, Harbans Singh Mander stated that this honor was not merely a personal achievement but also a tribute to all Punjabi readers dedicated to the Punjabi language and journalism.
He attributed this success to Punjabi readers, his family, and well-wishers. On this occasion, Press Club President Shravan Swami and all club members, along with Dr. Naib Singh Mander (Chairman, Lok Chetna Manch Haryana), Hardeep Singh Khokhar (President, Gumtasar Sports Academy), Hardeep Singh (President, Zindagi Sanstha), Rana Singh Johal, Ruldu Singh, Chamkaur Singh Mander, Dr. Darshan Singh, Satgur Chahal, Happy Singh Sethi, Sharma Chand Lali, Lion Shiv Soni, Bikkar Singh Bhundar, VS Jassar, Mata Baldev Kaur, Rajpal Kaur, Gurnoor Singh Mander, Arshdeep Singh Mander (Canada), and Parampreet Singh Bhundarvas, as well as representatives from various social organizations and political parties, congratulated journalist Mander.
