Harchand Singh Burst releases Kausambs Diary 2026
Mohali, December 23, 2025:- Sardar Harchand Singh Burst, Chairman of the National Council of State Agricultural Marketing Boards (Kousamb), released Kausamb's Diary - 2026 during the National Dialogue organized by Kausamb in Delhi on the topic "Unleashing the Potential of Fresh Produce Recovery". Addressing the function, Sardar Harchand Singh Burst expressed happiness and said that the Kausamb Diary - 2026 will prove to be very useful for the officials of Agricultural Marketing Boards, APMCs and related departments of various states across the country.
He said that this diary has included important contact details of the marketing boards, policies, marketing fees being implemented in various states, market charges and other useful information related to marketing, which will prove helpful in strengthening mutual coordination and cooperation. He said that the farmer produces the crop with great effort.
During this, more attention needs to be paid to the preservation of the commodity and its proper delivery to the people, because due to lack of proper preservation, about 30 percent of that effort goes in vain. Therefore, this is a very serious issue and for this, everyone needs to discuss it in detail and find suitable solutions.
Dr JS Yadav said that this diary prepared by KOSAMB is not just a routine publication, but it will act as a reference document for the officials working in the field of agricultural marketing. Through this diary, the exchange of information and understanding of policies between different states will be made easier.
