Hansi Bus Stand to Soon Get Relief from Sewerage Overflow Problem
Hansi:- The local bus stand is soon going to get relief from the sewerage overflow problem. For a permanent solution to this issue, the sewerage line of the bus stand will be connected to the main manhole. For this purpose, a new sewerage line approximately 200 meters long will be laid.
DC Rahul Narwal, while giving this information on Friday, stated that clear instructions have been issued to the officials of the Public Health Department to ensure that a permanent solution to the sewerage overflow problem at the bus stand is completed by 24 February. There should be no delay of any kind in this work.
Executive Engineer of the Public Health Department, Sanjeev Tyagi, informed in this regard that as per the instructions of DC Rahul Narwal, work on this project will commence on 22 February, i.e., Sunday, and the permanent solution to this problem will definitely be completed within the stipulated deadline of 24 February. He stated that the Public Health Department had attempted two to three times earlier to carry out this work, but due to the non-availability of a hammer machine, the work could not be started.
Now the machine has become available. The work will begin on Sunday. He further stated that a new 200-meter-long sewerage line will be laid and directly connected to the main manhole. He added that the lack of a hammer machine had been an obstacle in this work. The machine will be used to break the concrete (CC) road below.
Executive Engineer Sanjeev Tyagi further explained that the chamber to which the sewerage pumping station pipe at the bus stand was connected is of a very small size, due to which the sewerage line was overflowing. He said that once the bus stand’s sewerage line is connected to the main sewerage hall, the problem will be permanently resolved.
