Guru Purnima Festival Celebrated with Reverence and Enthusiasm

Hansi: The Guru Purnima festival was celebrated with reverence and enthusiasm across various yoga classes in the district, organized jointly by the Bharat Swabhiman Nyas and the Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Hansi district. A *Yajna* (sacred fire ritual) was performed, and *Prasad* (sanctified offering) was distributed to the devotees.
During the event, speakers recalled the guidance of Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, noting that a Guru leads us from ignorance to knowledge. The festival of Guru Purnima inspires reverence and dedication towards the Guru, as well as discipline and the resolve to walk the path of truth. On this occasion, all yoga practitioners paid homage to the Guru tradition and pledged to propagate the message of yoga, moral values ??(*sanskar*), and health within society.
The main event was held at the yoga class conducted by Ms. Uma at the Women's Park in Sector 6 (near Jind Road). Attendees included Rajiv Kumar (In-charge, Bharat Swabhiman Nyas, Hansi District), Pyarelal Saini, Ved Prakash Arya (District In-charge, Kisan Seva Samiti), Yogendra Grover (Treasurer), Kuldeep Soni, Praveen Bhatia (Co-Media In-charge), and Ashok (In-charge, Patanjali Yoga Samiti), along with a large number of yoga practitioners.
Additionally, the Guru Purnima festival was celebrated with reverence and devotion at Madhu Ranolia’s yoga class at Kanya Arya Senior Secondary School (Lal Sadak), as well as at the Maharana Pratap Fort complex and Lala Hukamchand Park. Programs featuring *Yajna*, *Guru Vandana* (reverential hymns to the Guru), and the distribution of *Prasad* were organized at all these locations.
