Gurmat Camp Taught Civil Security Tips
Batala, June 7:- Under the guidance of Commandant Ravel Singh Punjab Home Guards cum Additional Controller Civil Defence Gurdaspur and under the leadership of Store Superintendent, Civil Defence Batala, Warden Service, Post No. 8 organized the 470th “Civil Security” camp at the local Gurdwara Singh Sabha Sangatpura. Which was organized by Dharam Prachar Committee Sri Amritsar Sahib during the ongoing 10-day Gurmat Camp for children, on the 6th day.
On this occasion, Post Warden Harbaksh Singh, while giving information about natural and unnatural disasters, said that due to environmental change, the forms of disasters are also becoming more terrible. To deal with these, it is very important for every common and special citizen to learn the tips of security. He further told about burns, maintenance of domestic gas cylinders, road accidents, screen addiction and health care.
In case of any emergency, the national helpline number 112 can be called immediately for any kind of help, he explained in detail and also conducted a drill from the children. On this occasion, camp manager Giani Mohan Singh (Dharma Prachar Committee), Guru: Committee member Agya Singh, Granthi Balwinder Singh, Sukhbir Kaur along with the students were present.
