Gurmat and Dastar Training Camp concludes in Village Nangal
Ratia, June 8:- The concluding ceremony of the 7-day Gurmat and Dastar (turban) training camp, organized by the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee at Gurdwara Baba Jiwan Singh in village Nangal, was held today. Present on this occasion were Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee members Kaka Singh Ladhuwas and Gurmel Singh, Manager Rajinder Singh, Judge Singh, Hardeep Singh, social worker Happy Singh Sethi, and members of the local Gurdwara committee. During the event, children who participated in the camp were honored.
The services for this camp were provided by preacher Kuldeep Singh. While providing information, Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee member Kaka Singh Ladhuwas stated that the camp had been organized since June 1 to connect the children of the village with their culture and to provide training in tying the Dastar. The children were honored during the camp’s closing ceremony on Sunday evening.
He urged other Gurdwara committees to organize similar camps in their villages, assuring them of full support. Also present on this occasion were Sohan Singh, Kashmir Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Sonu Grover, Gurnam Singh, Raja Singh, Leela Singh, Noor Grover, and others.
