Gulati Travels Firm License Suspended for Three Months
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, November 06: Additional District Magistrate Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Mrs. Geetika Singh, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, has suspended the license of Gulati Travels Firm, SCO No. 04, First Floor, Bansa Wali Chungi, Kharar, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar for three months with immediate effect.
She informed that Navneet Gulati, son of Hazari Lal Gulati (House No. 3017, Sector 40-D, Chandigarh), owner of Gulati Travels, has been granted License No. 691/IC for the work of Consultancy, IELTS Coaching Institute, Travel Agency and Ticketing Agent. Dated 17.07.2024, which is valid till 16.07.2029.
The Additional District Magistrate informed that the firm was directed to submit monthly, half-yearly and seminar/advertisement reports by this office. However, since the issue of the license till date, no report or self-declaration form has been submitted to this office nor has any evidence been provided to the Home Affairs and Justice Department regarding the submission of half-yearly reports.
Notice was issued to the licensee regarding this violation, but no reply or report was received despite the lapse of the stipulated time. The license of the firm has been suspended for three months from 30.10.2025 due to violation of mandatory rules as per the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Act.
Along with this, a notice has been issued to the licensee under Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012 to clarify its position and reply within 15 days.
