Karnal, April 19: A grand 'Havan Yajna' (sacred fire ritual) was organized by the Krishna Branch of the Bharat Vikas Parishad at the Sector-6 Community Center, marking the auspicious occasions of Parshuram Jayanti and Akshaya Tritiya. This event was successfully concluded through the joint efforts of the branch's newly elected team—comprising Sonia Mehta (President for the 2026-27 session), Suman Arora (Secretary), Rajni Puri (Treasurer), and Sonia Hans (Head of Women's Participation)—along with all other branch members.
Approximately 20 couples from the branch participated reverently in the Havan Yajna during the program, offering oblations amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras and thereby infusing the atmosphere with a spirit of devotion. The occasion was graced by the special presence of Sankalp Bhandari and Megha Bhandari, who extended their best wishes for Akshaya Tritiya to all the members present. The entire branch team and all members made a commendable contribution toward the success of this event.
