Governments goal is to make the state budget employmentfriendly and industryfriendly Chief Minister
Chandigarh, January 7:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the industry and manufacturing sector have an important contribution to the state's economy. In view of greater development, full attention will be paid to the industrial sector in the upcoming budget of the state. The state government has set a target for the upcoming budget that the budget should be as employment-friendly and industry-friendly as possible so that the state's economy gets strengthened and Haryana's contribution is at the forefront in the journey of a developed India by 2047.
The Chief Minister was directly interacting with entrepreneurs in the pre-budget consultation meeting in Gurugram on Wednesday.
Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the goal of the pre-budget consultation meeting is to create an environment conducive to maximum industries in the state by taking valuable suggestions from the concerned stakeholders. Last year also, a similar pre-budget consultation meeting was held with the industries, in which excellent suggestions were made, which further strengthened the policies.
Suggestions were received in the meeting, out of which 71 suggestions were included in the budget. A provision of about Rs 1,95 crore 43 lakh was made in the budget for the Industries and Labour Department for the year 2025-26, out of which Rs 873 crore 51 lakh has been spent. He said that good suggestions related to the budget have been sought, any partner can give their suggestions through AI chatbot.
Announcements being implemented
Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the Haryana government is continuously working to implement the announcements made in the budget. In the previous budget, the budget of the Industries and Labour Department was increased by 129.37 percent so that it is further strengthened. The Haryana government has authorized 5 acres of land in IMT Bawal, 2.76 acres in IMT Faridabad and 5.47 acres in IMT Sohna for the construction of dormitories and single rooms for laborers. About 5800 acres of land has been identified for the expansion of IMT Kharkhoda at the rate of Rs 3 crore per acre. This will be authorized soon under the Industrial Policy-2022.
There will be special focus in the budget provisions for industrial development
The Chief Minister said that many suggestions came in this pre-budget consultation meeting today. I have to assure you that there will be special focus in the budget provisions for the industrial development of Haryana. Only the concrete and implementable suggestions given will present an effective budget. He said that every suggestion is a guide for us and I will personally ensure that they are seriously considered.
Satellite city to be built in Kharkhoda
The Chief Minister said that there is a plan to build a satellite city in Kharkhoda of Sonipat district in an area of ??10 thousand acres. Along with this, a wholesale market will be built in Rai. Traders have also started contacting about this. He said that the government has also set a target to build an EV park in its resolution. Along with this, the DPR of RRTS has been prepared at a cost of Rs 70 thousand crore, its tender will be held soon.
It will go from Sarai Kale Khan to Karnal and from Sarai Kale Khan to Alwar, this will benefit the people of the state. A convention center will be built in the same Manesar. He said that a labor court will be built in the Mini Secretariat premises Bawal with an amount of Rs 26 lakh, the budget for this has been given to the Public Works Department (Buildings and Roads).
India will become a developed nation with industrial development - Rao Narbir Singh
Haryana Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that the Haryana government is working by focusing on the vision of Developed India-2047. The government is effectively fulfilling its responsibility to give a new identity to India as a developed nation with industrial development.
He said that representatives associated with the industry have an important role in making Haryana a future-oriented state, in such a situation, the Haryana government will take steps by taking suggestions in such a pre-budget session to make the upcoming budget smooth and fruitful with the consideration of every interest.
He appreciated the performance of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini. He said that it is a meaningful initiative of the Haryana government that provisions are being made in the budget by taking pre-budget consultations and keeping in mind the people of every sector. He also motivated the delegates to play their active role in protecting the environment. On this occasion, MLA from Pataudi Bimla Chaudhary, MLA from Gurugram Mukesh Sharma, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar, Commissioner and Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department Dr. Amit Kumar Agarwal, Principal Secretary, Labour Department Mr. Rajiv Ranjan, Commissioner and Secretary, Excise and Taxation Ashima Brar, MD, HSIIDC Aditya Dahiya, OSD to the Chief Minister Dr. Raj Nehru and other senior administrative officers were present.
