Government should pay the outstanding installments of DA immediately Pensioner Association

Garhshankar:- The monthly meeting of Pensioner Welfare Association Punjab unit Garhshankar was held under the chairmanship of senior leader Babu Parmanand at Library Gandhi Park Garhshankar. Giving details of the meeting, Pensioner leader Mr. Balwant Ram said that Aam Aadmi Party is the first government in the history of Punjab which has not given a single installment of dearness allowance to the employees and pensioners of Punjab this year.
Due to the continuous neglect of the employees and pensioners by the government, the anger of this section towards the government is increasing day by day. Out of the promises made by the government to the employees and pensioners during the elections, the government has not fulfilled a single promise. Despite continuous struggle, the government is not ready to listen to the employees and pensioners. The Chief Minister and officials are repeatedly running away from holding meetings even after giving time for the meeting.
The government will have to pay the price for this embarrassment being caused to employees and pensioners by the government during the 2027 elections. A resolution was passed in the meeting, strongly condemning the petitions being filed by the government to silence journalists and demanding that the petitions filed against journalists be withdrawn immediately because the voice of journalists and the people cannot be silenced by force.
At this time, the demand was that the rate of 2.59 should be implemented for pension reform, the outstanding installments of DA should be paid in cash immediately, the monthly medical allowance should be increased to two thousand, and the old pension should be restored immediately.
