Government committed to take Gita knowledge to every home Naib Singh Saini
Chandigarh, July 30:- Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the government is working on the concept of including Gita in the syllabus and Gita in every home. Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is not just a religious scripture, but it is a complete science of living life. The harmony of karma, religion, knowledge and devotion that is described in the Gita is the basis for moving society and the country forward in today's times. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Haryana government is moving forward with culture and development.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini met Gita Manishi Swami Giananand Maharaj at Radha Krishna Temple of Gita Gyan Sansthan, Kurukshetra on the occasion of Guru Purnima late on Wednesday evening. Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini took blessings from Gita Manishi Gyananand Maharaj by wearing a shawl while performing the Guru-Shish tradition. The Chief Minister prayed for the happiness, prosperity, peace and welfare of the state by chanting mantras in the Radha Krishna temple of the institute. Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the day of Guru Purnima is a symbol of the pride of Guru-Shish tradition and Indian culture. The whole world has got the art of living from Kurukshetra, the land of Gita. Gita Manishi Swami Gyanan Maharaj has been working to spread the message of Gita to the masses for the last several decades. His life and work are an inspiration for all of us. He said that Kurukshetra is being developed as an international Gita city. Through centers like Brahmasarovar, Jyotisar and Gita Gyan Sansthan, we want to spread the message of Gita all over the world. International Gita Mahotsav has become one of the biggest cultural events in the world today. All this has been possible only with the blessings of saints like Gita Manishi.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that Guru Purnima teaches us to be grateful to our Guru, parents and society. The Haryana government is working on the principle of Antyodaya. Schemes are being made for the poor, farmers, women and youth. The Gita inspires us to do selfless work. With this spirit, we will achieve the goal of developed India and developed Haryana by 2047.
Gita Manishi Swami Giananand Maharaj said that Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini is a karma yogi. He has served the state a lot in a very short time and will continue to do so. The way the government is working to make the Gita reach the masses is commendable. The Gita awakens the spirit of discipline, dedication and patriotism in a person. He said that the Haryana government has done historic work for the propagation of the Gita.
