Government committed to immediate resolution of public grievances Agriculture Minister
Chandigarh, December 29:- Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Mr. Shyam Singh Rana said that the present government is committed to listening to and resolving the problems of the public seriously. Every month a meeting of the Grievance Committee is organized in which public problems are heard. Every government officer and employee is responsible towards the general public and they have to work for the welfare of the people as per the intention of the government.
The Agriculture Minister was presiding over the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Committee in Charkhi Dadri today.
In this meeting, a total of 14 complaints of citizens from different villages and urban areas of Charkhi Dadri district were presented, out of which 6 cases were resolved during the meeting itself, while the remaining complaints have been kept for further hearing.
Talking to reporters after the meeting, the Agriculture Minister said that clear instructions have been given to the officials to maintain transparency and be satisfactory in the investigation of complaints. The government's welfare schemes are meaningful only when their benefits reach the common citizen standing in the last line. Keeping this in mind, all the departments have been instructed to ensure time-bound resolution of complaints and problems.
Mr. Rana said that the meetings of the Grievance Committee are a source of smooth communication between the government and the citizens, the common public can directly reach out to the administration.
