Government Committed to Ensuring Every Needy Family Receives Welfare Benefits Dr Ravjot Singh

Hoshiarpur:- Punjab Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh on Sunday distributed smart cards and ration kits to needy families under the Chief Minister Meri Rasoi Scheme during a ‘Lok Milni’ (Public Interaction) programme held at village Bure Rajputan in the Sham Chaurasi Assembly constituency. On the occasion, he also listened to the grievances of local residents and directed the concerned officials to resolve their issues at the earliest.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ravjot Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is taking historic decisions for the welfare of the people. He said the government's objective is to ensure that every needy family receives the benefits of government welfare schemes so that no one feels neglected or deprived.
He said the Chief Minister Meri Rasoi Scheme has emerged as a major support for economically weaker sections of society and is providing relief to thousands of deserving families across the state.
Dr. Ravjot Singh praised the people-centric policies of the Punjab Government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, stating that continuous efforts are being made in the fields of education, healthcare, employment, electricity, drinking water, and social security for the welfare of the people.
He further said that development works are being carried out at a rapid pace in every village of the Sham Chaurasi Assembly constituency, and fulfilling the expectations of the people remains his top priority.
The Cabinet Minister said that the objective of the Lok Milni programmes is to hear people's grievances close to their doorstep and ensure their prompt resolution. He assured the public that no compromise would be made in the development of the constituency and that every genuine demand of the people would be addressed on a priority basis.
Among those present on the occasion were Rajwant Kaur Dhami, In-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party Women's Wing for Sham Chaurasi constituency, Sarpanch Ravinder Kaur, besides a large number of party leaders, panchayat representatives, and local residents.
