Gold rises by Rs 3000 to Rs 151 lakh
New Delhi:- Gold and silver prices are increasing on May 6. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has increased by ?3,000 to ?1.51 lakh (about $1.48 lakh).
Meanwhile, the price of one kilogram of silver has increased by ?6,000 to ?2.46 lakh. Earlier, the price of silver was ?2.40 lakh. On January 29, gold reached an all-time high of ?1.76 lakh and silver ?3.86 lakh. So far in 2026, gold has become expensive by Rs 18,000. On December 31, 2025, the price of 10 grams of gold was Rs 1.33 lakh, which has now reached Rs 1.51 lakh.
Silver has become expensive by Rs 16,000 this year. On December 31, 2025, the price of silver was Rs 2.30 lakh per kg, and now it has become Rs 2.46 lakh.
