Amritsar, December 6:- As part of the ongoing service of maintaining the gold leaves and enamel at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, gold leaves were installed in the inner part of the main darbar (west side side) today. This service was entrusted by the Shiromani Committee to Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha Birmingham, who have carried out the renovation work as required.
After today's Ardas, Granthi Singh Sahib of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Giani Rajdeep Singh, President of Shiromani Committee Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami and Head of Nishkam Sewak Jatha Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh reached Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib with gold leaves and started the service of installing the leaves with devotion.
On this occasion, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that work is done from time to time to preserve the gold leaf and enamel installed at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib and under this, the Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha has been entrusted with the service by the Shiromani Committee. He said that during the ongoing service, the leaves are being prepared exactly as before and reinstalled.
Similarly, the work of maintaining the enamel is also going on. He appreciated the services being performed with devotion by the Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha. Meanwhile, the head of the Sewak Jatha, Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh, said that it is the grace of Guru Sahib that he is getting the services of the Guru Ghar. He also thanked the Sangat for the cooperation given.
On this occasion, apart from SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha Birmingham Chief Bhai Sahib Bhai Mahinder Singh, Bhai Inderjit Singh, OSD Sardar Satbir Singh, Manager Sardar Bhagwant Singh Dhangera, Superintendent Propaganda Sardar Malkit Singh Beharwal, Sardar Jaspal Singh Dhadde, Additional Manager Sardar Gurvinder Singh Devidaspur and others were present.
