GMADAPUDA should also set up camps to address residents concerns Korwas

Mohali:- Leaders of Korwas, a joint organization formed by 23 resident welfare associations from various private mega projects in Mohali, including Pal Singh Rattu, Rajwinder Singh, Gaurav Goyal, Bhupinder Singh Saini, Daljit Singh Saini, Manoj Sharma, Harbans Singh, Anil Parashar, Sadhu Singh, Surinder Singh, Munish Kumar Bansal, and Jasvir Singh Garang, jointly issued a press release demanding that the Punjab government organize camps to address the problems of residents of these mega projects, similar to the camps held to address the problems of private builders.
They also demanded that Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian personally attend the camps to expose the irregularities committed by GMADA/PUDA officials and employees. Korwas President Rajwinder Singh stated that GMADA/PUDA officials and employees are colluding with builders and exploiting the people in various ways, and evidence of this will be presented to the concerned minister.
He also stated that if camps are not set up to resolve people's problems, it will be assumed that the government is also supporting GMADA and PUDA officials. The leaders stated that they have been complaining to higher officials and the Punjab government for a long time, but due to the officials' collusion with the builders, no hearing is held, and instead, the builders are benefited.
The leaders demanded that Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian order GMADA/PUDA officials to set up camps to understand the residents' problems without delay, so that the people can get justice.
