Giandeep Manch launches book Kachian Garhian Pakkian Nihan

Patiala:- Giandeep Sahit Sadhana Manch (Regd) Patiala organized a literary event in the seminar hall of the Language Department in which the religious poetry book ‘Kachian Garhian Pakkian Nihan’ by poet Harish Harf was launched. Inaugurating the event, the secretary of the manch, Gurcharan Singh Chan Patialvi, shared information about the creation process of Harish Harf and the book and the paper written by Balbir Jalalabadi regarding the book was read by the manch moderator in his absence.
Speaking as the chief guest, eminent poet and lyricist Dharam Singh Kameana said that the poet has tried to connect religion with history and social concerns in his book. Giving the presidential address, Dr. G. S. Anand said that Harish’s poetry is not only a poem of emotions but also tries to explore the layers of history.
Apart from the above, Dr. Santokh Sukhi, Sukhminder Sekhon and Dr. Gurmeet Kallarmajri also presented their views regarding the book. Senior Vice President of the forum Kulwant Singh Narike called upon the writers to rise above religion and caste and write.
During the event, the first issue of the Punjabi magazine ‘Sahithik Karumbalan’ published by Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Patran was also launched.
Apart from Harish Harf, songs from the book ‘Kachian Garhian Pakkian Nihan’ were also performed in Tarnam by renowned singers Sonu Virk and Lucky Singh. A poster of Harish’s songs recorded by different singers was also released.
Among the renowned poets present in the poetry session, Bachan Singh Gurm, Darshan Singh Darsh Pasiana, Avtarjit, Gurdarshan Gusil, Tejinder Anjana, Mangat Khan, Kuldeep Kaur Dhanju, Balbir Singh Dildar, Krishan Dhiman, Jaswinder Kaur, Sukhwinder Kaur Sukh, Gurpreet Dhillon, Jagga Ranguwal, Dhanna Singh Kharoud, Tarsem Khaspuri, Jatin Batra, Gurnam Singh Judge, Gurcharan Singh Dhanju and Rajeshwar Kumar presented their works.
Hardeep Singh Sanour ‘Laali Hariyali Mission’ Rajpal Kaur Masti’s Pathshala, Rajesh Kotia, Gurdeep Singh Saggu, Sukhdeep Singh, C. R. Mittal, Ravinder Singh Bhankhar and S. N. Chaudhary, etc. were also present. The photography duties were performed by Darshan Singh Darsh Pasiana.
