Hansi:- Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal informed that as per the notification issued by the Haryana Government, a gazetted holiday has now been declared on Thursday, May 28, 2026, on the occasion of 'Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid)'. Previously, this holiday was scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
He stated that this holiday will be applicable across all departments, boards, corporations, educational institutions, and other government organizations operating under the Haryana Government. Additionally, this holiday declared for May 28, 2026, will also be recognized under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
DC Rahul Narwal has directed the officials of the concerned departments to ensure that the information regarding the holiday orders reaches all offices and employees well in time so that the general public does not face any inconvenience.
