Gas Crisis in Santoshgarh People Standing in Long Queues Since Morning
Santoshgarh/Una, March 25 (Rajveer Chopra):- The Santoshgarh Municipal Council area is currently witnessing a severe shortage of cooking gas. The situation has become such that people are being seen standing in long queues since early morning just to procure gas cylinders. Many consumers are forced to return empty-handed despite waiting for hours, leading to widespread resentment among the public.
According to local residents, gas supplies have been disrupted for the past several days, causing the problem to escalate in severity. Women and the elderly, in particular, are facing significant hardships as they are compelled to join the queues at the crack of dawn.
Consumers state that the crowds at gas agencies have become so overwhelming that managing the situation has become extremely difficult. Many have alleged that an adequate number of cylinders are not being made available in a timely manner.
Experts believe that the escalating geopolitical tensions between Iran, the US, and Israel have impacted global oil and gas supplies—an effect that is now manifesting in local markets as well.
However, the administration has yet to take any concrete steps to resolve this issue. Local residents have urged the administration to normalize gas supplies as soon as possible to provide relief to the general public.
