Sri Muktsar Sahib:- The court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Neeraj Kumar Singla has sent the parents of gangster Goldie Brar, who were arrested by Muktsar police in a year-old extortion case, to police remand till January 30. Muktsar police had registered a case against unknown persons on December 3, 2024, on the charge of demanding a ransom of Rs 50 lakh from a government teacher of Udekaran village near Muktsar.
In the same case, the police had now named gangster Goldie Brar's father Shamsher Singh (former ASI) and his mother Preetpal Kaur in the case and arrested them from Amritsar in the past few days.
The police presented both of them in court on January 26, where the court granted them one-day police remand, and when they were presented again on Tuesday, the court granted them police remand till January 30.
