Fulfilling the fundamental duties guaranteed by the Constitution is true patriotism SDM

Hansi: A grand and thought-provoking seminar on "Our Participation in National Security" was successfully organized on February 20, 2026, under the joint auspices of Rashtriya Suraksha Jagran Manch and Sanatan Dharma Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Hansi. The program's objective was to raise awareness among youth and society about national security and to develop a sense of responsibility towards civic duties.
The program was presided over by the college administrator and SDM Hansi, Mr. Rajesh Khoth, and Principal Dr. Suresh Kumar Gupta served as the program patron. Professor Dr. Vijay Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, was present as the chief guest. The presence of Ombir (retired IPS) as the special guest, Golok Rai Bihari (National Steering Committee Member and Senior Pracharak, RSS) as the keynote speaker, Dr. Geeta Dahiya, Professor of Economics, Sanatan Dharma Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Hansi, and National Organization General Secretary Vikramaditya added a special dimension to the program.
Advocate Rajendra Singh Panghal (Co-Incharge, Delhi NCR Region) and Advocate Pawan Rapadia (President, District Bar Association, Hansi) also shared their views. The program began with the guests planting a tree on the college campus, lighting a lamp, and singing "Vande Mataram" collectively. The Principal warmly welcomed all guests with a bouquet and a sash.
Chief Guest Professor Dr. Vijay Kumar, in his inspiring address, stated that national security is not only the responsibility of soldiers deployed on the borders, but also the responsibility of every conscious citizen. He urged the youth to make character building, discipline, and continuous study the foundation of their lives. Keynote speaker Golok Rai Bihari, while highlighting the balance between internal and external security, stated that national security is a fundamental responsibility. Unity, social harmony, and civic awareness are the hallmarks of a strong nation.
In her address, Professor Geeta Dahiya stated that the strongest nations are made by their people and culture. Emphasizing the role of women, she said that the family is the foundation of nation-building, and women are the first educators. Therefore, women's participation in national security is crucial. Rajesh Dhamija, President of the National Security Awareness Forum, discussed in detail the challenges of internal security, cybersecurity, social awareness, and the fundamental duties enshrined in the Constitution.
In his presidential address, SDM Rajesh Khoth stated that true patriotism lies in adhering to the fundamental duties enshrined in the Constitution. He encouraged the youth to cultivate positive thinking, discipline, and social participation. At the end of the program, Administrator and SDM Hansi Rajesh Khoth and Principal Dr. Suresh Kumar Gupta honored the chief guest with a memento.
The stage was effectively moderated by Pooja and Vaishali (Commerce Department). The program was successfully organized by the Hindi Department. Members of the Sirsa Chapter, journalists, and college teachers were present on the occasion. A large number of students, non-teaching staff, and female students were present. The program infused a new spirit of patriotism and devotion to duty into the hearts of all participants.
