Free eye checkup and operation camp to be held in Chabbewal

Hoshiarpur- Rotary Club Hoshiarpur Mid Town organized a special meeting, in which the free eye check-up and operation camp to be held in village Chabbewal on November 7 was discussed in detail. This camp is being organized in collaboration with Rotary Club Warwick England. Past President of the club Rotarian Bill Jaspal, Rotarians Gurnandan Singh and Surinderpal Singh Sandhu will be the main supporters in this noble cause.
The meeting was led by President Rotarian Avtar Singh, while Jaswant Singh Bhogal said that eye check-up, distribution of medicines, spectacles and food facilities will be provided completely free of cost in the camp. Free operations of needy patients will be conducted in various renowned hospitals of Punjab. Therefore, arrangements for taking the patients to the hospital and returning home will also be made by Rotary Club Warwick England.
He said that the purpose of this camp is to provide health services to those patients of the villages who cannot get proper treatment due to economic reasons. This effort will not only restore the eyesight of the people but will also increase awareness about health.
Secretary Inderpal Singh Sachdeva, Rotarians Sanjeev Sharma, Binder Singh, Jaswant Singh Bhogal, Vikram Sharma, Rajnish Guliani, Kuljit Singh, Parveen Pabbi, Rakesh Kapoor, Jitendra Kumar, Manoj Ohri, D. P. Kathuria, Rohit Chopra, Jagmeet Singh Sethi and Jatinder Duggal and many other members were present in the meeting. All the members gave their suggestions to make this service work successful and resolved to make it successful with full dedication.
The office bearers of Rotary Club Hoshiarpur Mid Town said that the club organizes programs related to health, education and social welfare from time to time. This eye camp is also an important part of that chain, which is a wonderful example of selfless service.
