Free Checkup Camp at Virk Hospital on June 28 Pravesh Gaba
Karnal, June 27: A free check-up camp for stomach, intestinal, and liver diseases will be organized on Sunday, June 28, under the joint auspices of 'Sukh-Dukh De Saathi Sabha' and Virk Hospital, Karnal. The camp will be held at Virk Hospital, Karnal, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This information was shared by Pravesh Gaba (President, Sukh-Dukh De Saathi Sabha), Tarsem Vatta (Project Director), and Rajesh Middha. They stated that Dr. Ankit Kumar Tandon, a specialist in stomach and digestive system disorders, would examine and consult with patients at the camp.
During the camp, screenings for various ailments related to the stomach, intestines, liver, and digestive system will be conducted, and patients will receive necessary medical advice. According to the organizers, individuals suffering from issues such as heartburn, constipation, gas, jaundice, abdominal pain, bloating, loss of appetite, frequent vomiting, acidity, hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and other digestive problems can benefit from the camp.
Tests for blood sugar and liver function, as well as ECGs, will be provided free of charge. Facilities for UGI endoscopy and endoscopic examination of the large intestine will also be made available to patients if required. Needy patients will be provided with free medicines based on medical advice. Office bearers of 'Sukh-Dukh De Saathi Sabha' have appealed to the local residents to attend in large numbers and take advantage of this free health camp.
