Fourth T20 India beat Australia by 48 runs
New Delhi- Hosts Australia have won the toss and invited India to bat first in the fourth T20 international match. Batting first, India scored 167 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the stipulated twenty overs, but Australia could only score 119 runs.
Thus, India defeated Australia by 48 runs. The entire Australian team was all out for 119 runs in 18.2 overs. For India, Washington Sundar took three wickets, while Axar Patel and Shivam Dube took 2 wickets each.
Both the teams were tied 1-1 in the five-match T20 series, but India is now 2-1 ahead in the series. While the first match played in Perth was abandoned due to rain. India had defeated Australia by five wickets in the third match played in Canberra.
