Fourth Intra Moot Court Competition Successfully organized at Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur:- Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre successfully organized its Fourth Intra Moot Court Competition under the aegis of its Moot Court Committee on March 19–20, 2026. A total of 11 teams participated in the competition.
Team 012 emerged as the winner, comprising Radhika Verma (Speaker 1), Drishya Thakur (Speaker 2), and Aditya Bakshi (Researcher). Team 011 secured the runner-up position with Mannat Sehgal (Speaker 1), Sara Sharma (Speaker 2), and Kshitij Vashisht (Researcher).
In individual categories, Harshika (Team 013) was awarded Best Researcher, Bhavleen Kaur (Team 008) received the Best Mooter award, and Team 007 (Avdeesh, Ripudaman, Aditya Pratap) won the Best Memorial award.
The final round was judged by distinguished members of the bar, Advocate C.S. Marwaha and Advocate Ashwani Kumar Verma, whose insightful observations and expert guidance were highly appreciated.
Addressing the gathering, Advocate Ashwani Verma highlighted that law is a noble profession with a bright future. He emphasized that practicing law becomes even more meaningful when it helps deliver justice to those in need, bringing satisfaction to one’s conscience and earning respect in society.
The competition proved to be an effective platform for students to showcase their advocacy skills, legal research, and courtroom etiquette. Members of the Moot Court Committee, including Dr. Pooja Sood, Dr. Monica Negi, Dr. Vinay Sharma, Dr. Sukhbir Kaur, Dr. Ritu Salaria, Dr. Seema Chumber, Dr. Parneet Kaur, and Mrs. Neena Raju, congratulated the winners and expressed gratitude to all participants and contributors for their valuable support and cooperation.
