Four schools in Ambala threatened to blow up with bombs
Ambala, January 19:- There has been a stir after four reputed schools in Ambala received a bomb threat through an email. This email came at 8:22 am on Monday and in it the time to blow up the schools with bombs has been given as 2:11 am. After receiving this threatening email, an atmosphere of panic has arisen among the school administration and parents.
As soon as the information was received, the police department has gone on alert mode and a search operation has been started in the schools in a hurry. At present, the names of SA Jain Model School and Police DAV Riverside Ambala Cantt, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 School in Ambala city have come to light. Some other schools have also received this email.
When contacted, DAV Riverside School Principal Seema Dutt said that she received the mail at 8:22 am, which said that she should not send her children to the program on January 26. She had informed the police administration and specifically requested that the employees come to the school in civilian uniform to check so that there is no panic among the children.
Seema said that the police have come to the school and checked it and they have also checked the bags of the children at their level. Mahesh Nagar Police Station SHO Jatinder Dhillon said that after receiving the information, a checking campaign has been launched in the school and PCR and soldiers have been deployed outside the school.
On the other hand, since Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 is in the army area, army soldiers were immediately stationed outside the school and a search campaign has been launched from the classroom to the ground and vehicles parked in the campus. After receiving the threat mail, the school management or the district administration have not issued any official orders to declare holidays in the schools.
Officials say that the situation is under control and strict security arrangements have been made. In the initial investigation, this threat is being considered as someone's mischief, but despite this, the police do not want to take any kind of risk. According to sources, such an e-mail has also reached the Army School.
