Former MP Suresh Chandel Conducts Cleanliness Drive and Tree Plantation in Tahliwal

Haroli/Una, June 21 (Rajveer Chopra): On the occasion of the cleanliness drive and World Environment Day tree plantation program organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), former MP and BJP leader Suresh Chandel personally took up a broom to clean the area from the bus stand to the front of various shops in the Tahliwal market, collecting and clearing away the accumulated trash.
Subsequently, he planted a sapling under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" (A Tree in Mother's Name) initiative in Ward 7. He stated that the BJP has decided at the central level to conduct cleanliness programs in every assembly constituency, with both leaders and party workers participating to raise public awareness and inspire others to carry the campaign forward.
Regarding the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" program, he noted that the person planting the tree—dedicated to their elders—would also be responsible for its protection and nourishment. This initiative aims to ensure a cleaner environment and encourage more people in society to plant trees, thereby increasing greenery and improving the environment.
Haroli BJP leader Prof. Ram Kumar also accompanied him on this occasion. He too participated in the cleanliness drive from the Tahliwal bus stand to the market and planted a sapling under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" program.
