Folk Splendor with Baisakhi StateLevel Haroli Festival 2026

Haroli/Una, April 12 (Rajveer Chopra):— Vinay Kumar—President of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, MLA from the Shri Renuka Ji Assembly constituency, and former Deputy Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly—served as the Chief Guest at the second cultural evening of the State-Level Haroli Festival-2026. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister and Haroli MLA, Mukesh Agnihotri, extended a warm welcome to him. MLA Vivek Sharma was also notably present at the event.
Extending his best wishes for the Haroli Festival, Vinay Kumar remarked that this festival has now carved a distinct identity for itself at the state level and is infusing new energy into the social and cultural life of the region. He recalled that he had the opportunity to attend this event approximately 10 years ago as well, but noted that the scale and grandeur of the fair have expanded tremendously since then. He added that the manifold increase in public participation witnessed today serves as a strong testament to its success. He further stated that, under the leadership of Mr. Agnihotri, the Haroli development model has emerged as an exemplary model for the entire state.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri stated that the Haroli Festival is a celebration deeply intertwined with the sentiments of the masses. The massive turnout of people at the festival stands as proof of its immense popularity and success. He expressed confidence that this fair would continue to scale new heights in the years to come.
During the event, the Chairman of the Fair Committee and SDM, Vishal Sharma, felicitated all the guests.
The second cultural evening was dedicated to Punjabi star singers G Khan and Prabh Gill. The spectacular performances by both artists kept the audience grooving until late into the night, leaving the entire venue brimming with enthusiasm and high spirits.
Prominent dignitaries and representatives from local Panchayats were present on the occasion, including Congress District President Deshraj Gautam, State General Secretary Ranjit Rana, HIMCOFED Chairman Vikram Sharma 'Dicky', SC Commission Member Vijay Dogra, Congress leaders Ashok Thakur and Vinod Bittu, DC Jatin Lal, SDM Vishal Sharma, and DSP Mohan Rawat.
