Fire Safety Week Begins in Tahliwal Awareness Drive Launched by Fire Department
Haroli/Una, April 15 (Rajveer Chopra): The Fire Department has launched a Fire Safety Week in the industrial area of Tahliwal under Haroli Assembly constituency from April 14 to April 20. The initiative aims to raise awareness among the public about fire prevention and safety measures.
The campaign is being conducted nationwide under the directions of the headquarters in Shimla, with the primary objective of educating people about fire safety and prevention.
In-charge of Fire Post Tahliwal, LFM Sunil Dutt, informed that special awareness drives are being carried out in schools, hospitals, crowded places, and marketplaces during the week. People are being educated about the causes of fire, preventive measures, and the steps to be taken during emergencies.
On Wednesday, shopkeepers and passersby in the Tahliwal market were made aware of fire safety practices. The fire department team advised people to stay calm in case of a fire incident, take immediate appropriate action, and promptly contact the concerned department. Detailed information about fire prevention methods was also shared.
The campaign saw participation from LFM Sunil Dutt along with FM Ravinder Singh, Harmesh Chand, Vijay Kumar, Darshan Kumar, HG Kamal, DVR Rajeev Kumar, and DVR Manish Kumar, among other staff members.
The Fire Department has appealed to the public to take fire-related incidents seriously and strictly follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
