Featuring dazzling performances and vibrant talent the Youth Festival was a superhit
Karnal, November 4: Rakesh Bhatia, Principal of Babu Moolchand Jain Government Industrial Training Institute, announced that the two-day District Youth Festival 2025, held at the Government College in Sector 14, concluded today. The event was organized under the theme "Developed India - Young India." The festival's objective was to encourage talent, creativity, and patriotism among youth.
He added that BJP District President Praveen Lathar was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony. While honoring the talented youth, Mr. Lathar stated that India's future lies in the hands of youth and that such events inspire them to contribute to social development.
He added that a large number of students from various educational institutions in the district participated in the festival, showcasing outstanding talent in music, dance, speech, debate, painting, and other disciplines. Prizes and certificates were presented to the winning participants in the closing session. The stage was moderated by Vice Principals Meenakshi, Lalit Rawat, and Gulshan.

In the group folk dance competition, Model Senior Secondary School came first, Government Polytechnic Nilokheri second, and Government Training Institute Karnal third. Similarly, in the group folk song competition, Government Women's College Karnal came first, Government Industrial Training Institute Karnal second, and Government Industrial Training Taraori third. In the innovation track of the Science Fair, Maharana Pratap University came first, Government College Gharaunda second, and Government Polytechnic Nilokheri third.
In the individual category, Sonali from GBN Girls College Anjanthalli won first place in poetry writing, Tushali from DAV Women's College second, and Ankit from Government College Sector 14 third. In story writing, Nikita from Maharana Pratap University came first, Garima from Government ITI Karnal second, and Jyoti from Government Polytechnic Nilokheri third.
In the painting competition, Jannat from Government PG College Sector-14 got first place, Gaurav Kashyap from open category got second place and Gaurav from Government PG College-14 got third place. In the declamation competition, Tanya Sharma from DAV Women's College got first place, Prachi Vats from Maharana Pratap University got second place and Lavesh Madan from Government PG College Sector-14 got third place.
In the innovation track competition of the science fair, Gurkirat Singh from Government Polytechnic Nilokheri got first place, Yashika from DAV Women's College got second place and Tanuj from Government ITI Karnal got third place. Whereas Vikas from Madhuban was the winner in the open entry in folk music (instrumental).
