Fatehabad Police strengthened its grip on Ratia area under Operation Jeevan Jyoti

Ratia, December 02:- Under the strict instructions of Superintendent of Police, Shri Siddhant Jain, IPS, Fatehabad Police, launched an effective and strategic search operation in Ratia Sub-Division to dismantle the drug network. The operation conducted under “Operation Jeevan Jyoti” was aimed at completely stopping the activities of drug smugglers, illegal activities and suspicious elements operating in the area.
A police team led by Sub-Inspector Ranjit Singh, in-charge of Ratia City Police Station, launched a massive search operation in the early hours of the morning, specifically focusing on Rattakhera village. Dog squads and commando units were deployed along with the police force, a thorough search was conducted on the main streets of the village, around houses, secluded paths, huts and dirt roads leading to the fields. The police conducted house-to-house searches to gather information and kept a close watch on the activities of the suspects.
The strong police presence during the search operation alerted those involved in illegal activities in the area. Continuous patrolling further strengthened the security environment in the main squares, streets and potential hotspots. Police teams questioned several suspects, thoroughly checked two-wheelers and four-wheelers, and additional police forces were deployed at some places to maintain strict vigil. The operation continued till afternoon, creating a palpable sense of security in the entire area.
Sub-Inspector Ranjit Singh said that the mission against drug abuse in Ratia will continue with full determination. "Drug smugglers will not be spared under any circumstances. The police are vigilant and will continue to take strict action to maintain peace, security and a drug-free environment in the area," he said.
The Fatehabad police have appealed to citizens to immediately share information with the police about drug smuggling, suspicious movement or any illegal activity. The name and identity of the informant will be kept completely confidential.
