Facilities at Karnal Railway Station to be expanded soon Jagmohan Anand
Karnal, June 23: MLA Jagmohan Anand stated that facilities at the Karnal railway station will soon be expanded, enabling passengers, senior citizens, students, traders, and local residents to benefit from improved and convenient rail services. In this regard, a letter was written to the Union Minister for Power, Housing, and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal, urging—on behalf of the people of Karnal—the expansion of railway facilities, the provision of stoppages for essential trains, and the overall development of the station.
The MLA mentioned that Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw paid a courtesy visit to Union Minister Manohar Lal’s residence in Delhi to discuss this matter. Union Minister for Coal and Mines, Kishan Reddy Gangapuram, was also present on the occasion.
In his capacity as the Member of Parliament for Karnal, Union Minister Manohar Lal highlighted key public interest issues concerning the Karnal railway station. He held positive discussions regarding the provision of stoppages for several essential trains, the installation of lifts for the convenience of senior citizens and persons with disabilities, and the provision of other necessary, modern amenities for passengers.
MLA Jagmohan Anand stated that, demonstrating his commitment to public service, Union Minister Manohar Lal earnestly presented all these demands to the Union Railway Minister. He remarked that this initiative would prove to be a significant step towards providing Karnal with modern, well-equipped, and developed railway infrastructure. He expressed his gratitude to Union Minister Manohar Lal for effectively conveying these crucial issues—linked to public sentiment and the public interest—to the Central Government and for prioritizing them.
