Eye Checkup Camp Organized at Asha Kiran School
Hoshiarpur:- On the occasion of World Health Day, an eye check-up camp was organized at the J.S.S. Asha Kiran Special School in Jahankhelan. During the event, Dr. Naresh Sood conducted eye examinations for 100 special-needs students; students pursuing a Diploma in Special Education also extended their full cooperation on this occasion.
Speaking at the event, Harbans Singh, President of the Ashadeep Welfare Society, expressed his gratitude to the team of doctors who visited the school and noted that such camps are organized periodically at the school for the benefit of the special-needs students. Also present at the event, Shelly Sharma—President of the District Special Olympics Association and Principal of the school—stated that, alongside their education, the school places great emphasis on looking after the health and well-being of the special-needs children.
Ram Asra, Director Anjana, Course Coordinator Barinder Singh, Dr. Simran, and Vice Principal Indu Bala were also among those present on this occasion.
