ERV Personnel Trained in Public Service and Rapid Response
Hansi: Under the guidance of Hansi Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar, the district police organized a special meeting for ERV (Emergency Response Vehicle) personnel with the aim of providing better and timely police assistance to the public. The meeting was organized by Welfare Inspector Saroj and attended by police personnel deployed on various ERV vehicles.
During the meeting, personnel were informed that a rapid police response in any emergency situation strengthens public trust. Consequently, instructions were issued to every ERV team to remain vigilant in their respective areas and to act with seriousness and responsibility on every piece of information received.
Welfare Inspector Saroj emphasized that the role of ERVs is crucial in situations such as road accidents, issues regarding women's safety, domestic disputes, altercations, missing persons cases, and other emergencies. She instructed the personnel that upon reaching a scene, their primary responsibility is not merely to take legal action but also to assist the victim with a humane approach.
Essential guidelines were also provided regarding the prompt provision of medical aid to the injured during accidents, crowd control, securing the scene, and playing an active role in relief and rescue operations. Additionally, they were encouraged to maintain a polite and cooperative demeanor with the public and to work towards appropriate solutions by patiently listening to the grievances of every complainant.
