Una, November 3: Leaders of various employee organizations in Una district have expressed strong protest over the assault on a senior assistant at the PWD office in Bangana.
Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Union, District Una President Rajneesh Sharma, General Secretary Rajesh Kumar, Senior Vice President Tara Singh, Former President Ramesh Thakur, District Representatives of the Urban Unit Mukesh Dhiman and Surendra Kaundal, and employee leaders from development blocks Haroli, Gagret, Bangana, and Amb have also strongly condemned the incident and demanded strict action against the culprit.
Employee leaders stated that the attack on a government employee while on duty is an attack on the democratic system. They demanded the immediate arrest of the culprit. Employee organizations have also demanded the administration ensure the safety of employees and take concrete steps to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
