Karnal, January 14:- The Superintending Engineer of the local operational circle of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has announced that electricity consumers' complaints will be heard on January 15 at 11:00 AM in the conference hall of Rajiv Gandhi Vidyut Bhawan, Rohtak. The hearing will be conducted by the Chairman of the Zonal Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Rohtak. Consumers from Karnal district can also present their complaints.
He stated that consumers whose electricity-related problems have not been resolved even after meeting with local officials can file a complaint before the Forum. He further clarified that consumers whose electricity-related cases are pending in court and those whose complaints or cases are more than two years old will not be eligible for the hearing. Additionally, complaints related to electricity theft will not be heard at the meeting.
