Una, May 29: The electoral process in 83 Panchayats of Una district concluded in a peaceful and orderly manner on Thursday. Polling for a total of 83 Panchayats was held from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, following which the counting of votes was conducted at the respective designated centers. Concurrently, the results of the elections were also declared. This information was provided by the District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner of Una, Jatin Lal.
In the second phase of elections in Una district, within the Amb sub-division, Sunita Rani was elected as the Pradhan (Head) of Gram Panchayat Dharamshala Mahanta Khas, while Vijay Kumar was elected as the Up-Pradhan (Deputy Head). In Badhmana, Radha Rani won the election for Pradhan, while Ashok Kumar became the Up-Pradhan. In Nari Chintpurni, Praveen Kumari was elected Pradhan, while Surender Singh became the Up-Pradhan. In Duhal Bhangwalan, Malkit Singh was elected for the post of Pradhan and Satish Kumar for the post of Up-Pradhan. In Bhagrah, Suman Lata was chosen as Pradhan and Gurdyal Singh as Up-Pradhan.
