Una, May 17: The electoral process for six urban local bodies in Una district concluded in a peaceful and orderly manner on Sunday. Voting for a total of 48 wards took place on Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, following which the counting of votes was conducted at the respective offices of the local bodies. Concurrently, the election results were also declared. This information was provided by the District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner of Una, Jatin Lal.

**Results for Nagar Panchayat Gagret**
In Ward 1 of Nagar Panchayat Gagret, 294 votes were cast; of these, Vikas Kalia received 210 votes and Tarsem Lal received 82 votes, while 2 voters opted for NOTA. Vikas Kalia emerged victorious from Ward 1 with a margin of 128 votes. In Ward 2, a total of 240 votes were cast, with Vikas Sharma receiving 146 votes and Narinder Singh receiving 94 votes. Vikas Sharma was declared the winner from Ward 2 by a margin of 52 votes. In Ward 3, a total of 349 votes were cast; Saroj Kumari received the highest number of votes (122), followed by Tripta Devi with 114, Nancy Thakur with 94, and Ranjana Thakur with 15 votes, while 4 voters chose NOTA. Saroj Kumari was declared the winner from Ward 3 by a margin of 8 votes. In Ward 4, a total of 422 votes were cast; Babita received 187 votes, Bhavna Devi received 140 votes, and Raj Kumari received 94 votes, while 5 voters pressed the NOTA button. Shobha Rani won Ward 1 by a margin of 4 votes. In Ward 2 (Amb-1), a total of 538 votes were cast, resulting in a tie between Anusuya Rani and Sarabjit Singh, who each received 268 votes, while 2 voters chose NOTA. Consequently, Anusuya Rani was declared the winner of Ward 3 (Amb-2) through a draw of lots.
