Mamdot/Firozpur 17 August:- Aam Aadmi Party conducted legal elections for the posts related to Mamdot Nagar Panchayat in town Mamdot today. It was held under the supervision of SDM Abhishek Sharma Ferozepur. During this election, young member Rakesh Kumar Vicky Maini was elected as the President of Nagar Panchayat Mamdot. Similarly, Daljit Singh Ward No. 2 was elected as the Vice President of Nagar Panchayat. Social worker Gurpreet Singh Sekhon was also present on this occasion.
His supporters expressed happiness on being elected as the President of Vicky Maini and congratulated him. Talking to reporters, the newly appointed president Rakesh Kumar Vicky Maini and social worker Gurpreet Singh Sekhon thanked all the people of the town of Mamdot for their efforts in developing the town and said that work will be done without party affiliation.
On this occasion, Pippal Singh Sandhu, Sarj Singh Sandhu, Kickar Singh Sandhu, Ladi Bhullar, Team Gurpreet Sekho, Pala Singh Ujagar Machinery Store, Gurnam Singh Sarpanch Singh Hazara Singh, Balwinder Singh Sarpanch Rauke Chairman Block Mamdot, Balwinder Singh Sarpanch Hazara Singh Wala Hithar and other leaders were present.
