Hoshiarpur:- Municipal Employees Action Committee Punjab held a meeting at ISRO Bhawan Ludhiana and held a rally in the city for 2 days on 11th and 12th March 2026 and burnt copies of the notification to burn the effigy of the Punjab Government and make it permanent after regular 10 years. As per this decision of Municipal Employees Action Committee Punjab, the effigy of the Punjab Government was burnt at Dhobi Ghat today on 11th March 2026. Which was led by Senior Vice President Vikramjit Bunty and Vice President Somnath Adia.
In which Kulwant Singh Saini reached in a high position and after burning the effigy, he gave his demand letter to the Tehsildar Sahib which is to be sent to the Chief Minister of Punjab. At this time, he said that the government is not doing what it has to do to protect property and life, completely the opposite is being done. The lesson of which will be taught to the employees in the 2027 elections.
