Garhshankar, October 22 - The Democratic Teachers Front Punjab has demanded that the lecturers promoted from the master cadre yesterday be assigned to a nearby station.
While giving information in this regard, DTF State Joint Secretary Mukesh Kumar, promoted lecturers Jaswinder Singh and Parminder Kaur said that during the promotion of lecturers from the master cadre yesterday, the Education Department has issued orders for one station and two teachers each.
Despite repeatedly writing to the Education Department regarding the station selection, stations are not being assigned even after a month and a half, due to which there is great disappointment among the promoted lecturers. The leaders have demanded that the education department immediately issue new orders to the lecturers who have not joined the department.
