Bathinda, January 12:- IPS officer of the batch Dr. Jyoti Yadav Bains took charge as SSP Bathinda here today. Earlier, Dr. Jyoti Yadav Bains was rendering his excellent services as SSP Khanna. During this, he was also honored with a guard of honor by a contingent of Punjab Police.
After assuming charge, District Police Chief Dr. Jyoti Yadav Bains, while holding a meeting with the top officers of the police administration, said that maintaining the law and order situation in the district at all costs would be the top priority of the police.
On this occasion, SSP Dr. Jyoti Yadav Bains said that strictest action will be taken against drug smugglers and elements involved in illegal activities. He said that all possible efforts will be made to make the district drug free and for this purpose the intelligence system will be further strengthened.
On this occasion, he appealed to the general public for full cooperation and said that the general public is the trusted partner of the police and any information related to drugs or crime should be shared with the police without any fear. He assured that the identity of the informer will be kept completely confidential.
SSP Dr. Jyoti Yadav Bains said that maintaining the security, peace and trust of the people is the main responsibility of the police and no negligence will be tolerated in this direction.
