Hoshiarpur: "Assisting needy families and ensuring that the benefits of all government schemes reach them are among my top priorities; efforts such as ration distribution play a crucial role in providing relief to the people." These sentiments were expressed by Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar as he arrived in the village of Bassi Kalan to distribute ration kits under the "Meri Rasoi Yojana" (My Kitchen Scheme). He stated that the government's objective is to ensure that no needy family faces difficulties in meeting their daily necessities.
On this occasion in Bassi Kalan, ration supplies were provided to a total of 1,528 family members belonging to 404 ration card-holding households. A large number of villagers were present at the event; they wholeheartedly thanked their MLA for the benefits received under this scheme and also lauded him for ensuring that these benefits reached the people of Chabbewal constituency ahead of other constituencies.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar affirmed that the Punjab government is committed to extending assistance to every needy family, and he constantly strives to ensure that no eligible individual is deprived of the benefits offered by government schemes. He noted that the government is implementing various public welfare schemes aimed at improving the standard of living for the poor and needy sections of society.
The MLA highlighted that the government is currently running numerous schemes related to education, healthcare, electricity, and social security, all designed to provide relief to the common people. He appealed to the public to familiarize themselves with these government schemes and avail of their benefits based on their eligibility. He further encouraged them to contact him directly for any information or assistance they might require.
Also present at the event, Sarpanch Seema Chadha remarked that the residents of the Chabbewal constituency are deeply impressed by their MLA's style of functioning. She noted that he provides relief and assistance to the economically weaker families within his constituency by efficiently and seamlessly implementing every government-sponsored public welfare scheme.
