Haroli/Una, May 11 (Rajveer Chopra): A significant online meeting of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jan Kalyan Foundation, Himachal Pradesh, was held on May 10, 2026. Various office bearers of the organization participated in the meeting, and several important decisions regarding the organization were taken.
During the meeting, Mr. Dilbag Singh (Retired Kanungo) was unanimously appointed as the Executive State General Secretary. This appointment was made following the resignation of the former State General Secretary, Mr. Gurmel Singh, from his post.
Additionally, Mr. Shadi Lal Hira was appointed as the State Spokesperson for the organization.
It was also decided during the meeting that the awards distribution ceremony related to competitive examinations would be held before June 15, 2026. Notably, this event had been postponed for some time due to the Panchayat elections.
State President Mr. Durga Das Hira, District Una President Advocate Naresh Kumar, Mr. Naresh, Mr. B.K. Sandhu, Mr. Ankush Hira, and other office bearers were present at the meeting.
